According to TEAMtalk insider Graeme Bailey, Liverpool has made its biggest offer to date to Ibrahima Konate as they seek to agree a contract extension. Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona are three of the clubs looking to sign him on a free transfer.

Team Talk reports that Inter Milan has proposed a potential deal to Konate in an attempt to bring the center-back from Merseyside.

According to L’Interista, Inter Milan are interested in Ibrahima Konate’s contract situation, as he can be signed without having to pay a transfer fee. The report claims Inter had hoped to sign the defender in January in a transfer for a reduced fee, but that idea was not an option for Liverpool due to their injury issues in defence this season. The focus is now on the upcoming summer, and Inter are ready to move for Konate if he leaves Liverpool. Inter will let veteran centre-backs Stefan De Vrij and Francesco Acerbi leave as free agents in the summer and are seeking a much younger centre-back, with Konate fitting this profile.

Tuttomercato reports Ibrahima Konaté is considered one of the main targets for Inter as a replacement for Francesco Acerbi. From England, there are growing suggestions of a possible sale in the January transfer window. Liverpool do not want to risk losing Konaté on a free transfer at the end of the season, due to his current refusal to renew his contract.
