Ianis Hagi Transfer from Rangers to FCSB

Ianis Hagi has been approached by Gigi Becali, the decision-maker at FCSB, who publicly expressed interest in signing the Romanian international. However, Ianis Hagi refused the offer, stating his preference to stay abroad.

Sport.ro reports on FCSB's owner Gigi Becali's strong interest in signing Ianis Hagi, offering him a guaranteed position as a starter in every match, with no one else being able to remove him from the lineup. Becali was willing to pay 3 million euros for Hagi and emphasized that Hagi's salary would not be less than 1 million euros per year. Becali highlighted Hagi's quality, stating that he is above the level of Romanian football.

Sport.ro provides an update on the transfer situation surrounding Ianis Hagi and FCSB. Gigi Becali, the financier of FCSB, was initially determined to pursue the transfer of Ianis Hagi but decided against it after learning about the required annual salary of 1.5 million euros. Becali expressed his unwillingness to pay this salary, thus ruling out the transfer of Ianis Hagi to FCSB. Despite being a national team player, the salary demand was deemed too high by Becali.

Gigi Becali, the financier of FCSB, expressed his desire to bring Ianis Hagi to the team. He guaranteed Hagi a starting position in all European matches. However, Gică Hagi, Ianis Hagi's father, has made it clear that if Ianis were to return to Romania, he would only play for Farul Constanța. This statement was reiterated after Becali's public declarations of interest, emphasizing that despite FCSB's offer, Farul is the only Romanian club Ianis would consider. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 2.00m euros.
