Youm7 reported that Zamalek wants to see an official offer before deciding its stance and that there have not yet been real negotiations.

Zamalek central defender Hossam Abdelmaguid is seeking a transfer to Europe. His agent stated that West Bromwich Albion and Anderlecht are interested, and that a meeting was held with representatives from both clubs. The 24-year-old has one year left on his contract and Zamalek was reportedly seeking between €1.9 million and €2.8 million for him in January 2026.
