Sheffield United are reportedly leading a group of Championship clubs, including Swansea City, Derby County, and Charlton Athletic, in the pursuit of 17-year-old English Leeds United teenager Harry Gray for a loan deal. A report from The Leeds Press, which cited Leeds insider Elland Back, stated that Sheffield United have been tracking the striker for months. The same report suggests there is a belief that Leeds would be willing to send Gray to their rivals, given the prospect of him receiving regular, high-quality playing time. Gray is expected to be part of United's pre-season, though no decision has yet been made on his future following a loan spell at Rotherham in the second half of last season. Gray, who has five caps and one goal for England U17, is under contract at Leeds until June 2027 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €700k. In the 2025/2026 season, he scored three goals in 20 League One appearances and added six goals in seven games in Premier League 2.
