The Leeds Press, citing Leeds insider Elland Back, reports that Derby County is one of several Championship rivals with an interest in signing Leeds United's English teenager Harry Gray on loan. According to the report, Sheffield United are the primary contenders to sign the 17-year-old, with Swansea City and Charlton Athletic also mentioned as interested. The report further states that Sheffield United have been monitoring Gray for months and believe Leeds would be willing to approve a loan to give the striker regular, quality football. However, it is also reported that no decision has been made regarding his next steps. Gray's contract with Leeds is valid until 2027. He has been capped by England at the U17 level, scoring one goal in five appearances. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 20 League One appearances, scoring three goals, and also scored six times in seven games for the U21s in Premier League 2.
