Portsmouth are in advanced talks to sign 22-year-old Dutch midfielder Gibson Yah from FC Volendam, who also holds Nigerian citizenship. It is believed that the former Ajax youth player is available on a free transfer following the relegation of his current club from the Eredivisie. In the 2025/2026 Eredivisie season, Yah made 24 appearances, providing 3 assists. He has made three appearances for the Netherlands at U15 level, scoring one goal.
