Gabriel Vidović Transfer from FC Bayern München to Cagliari
Italian Serie A club Cagliari expressed interest in Gabriel Vidovic, along with other clubs such as the Italian first division team Genoa, the Belgian top club RSC Anderlecht, and the German club 1. FC Heidenheim. Despite these clubs' interest, Vidovic ultimately opted to join Dinamo Zagreb, a move that was officially confirmed by FC Bayern. The transfer, which is valued at around two million euros, also includes a potential sell-on clause for Bayern. Vidovic, who had previously been on loan at Dinamo Zagreb, was persuaded by Zvonimir Boban, the club's new chairman, to assume a central role in the team. Boban, a former world-class footballer, assured Vidovic of a key position in a squad that is undergoing significant changes, particularly after the departure of their top star Martin Baturina to Serie A club Como. Vidovic will wear the iconic number 10 jersey, previously worn by Luka Modric, and will have the chance to play in the Europa League with Dinamo.
