It is reported that Galatasaray is interested in signing Turkish goalkeeper Ersin Destanoğlu, whose contract with Besiktas is expiring. The club might make a financially attractive offer to the 25-year-old, but he would have to accept a backup role. Other clubs, including Shakhtar Donetsk and Club Brugge, are also competing to sign him, while Besiktas is hoping to extend his contract. Destanoğlu, who joined Besiktas in July 2018, has made 21 appearances in the Süper Lig this season and has not been capped by the Turkish national team. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current valuation of €2.50m.
