Steve Solvet, a 30-year-old Guadeloupean international centre-back, is of interest to Olympiacos, which is considering him for the January transfer window. Al-Khaleej, a club in the top division of Saudi Arabia, is also interested. It is reported that both clubs have taken steps to acquire the Sabah player and wish to reach an agreement in early January. Solvet's contract with Sabah runs until June 2027, though it is also mentioned that he will be in the final six months of his contract, which permits him to sign with a club of his choosing for the subsequent season. In reaction to the interest, Sabah has begun negotiations for a new contract with Solvet's representatives, but this process is regarded as difficult as it is reported that the player wishes to move to a larger club. Solvet became a player for his current club, Sabah FK, in July 2025 and has made 15 appearances and scored 2 goals for his country. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €1.0M.
