David Strelec is a potential transfer target for the Spanish side Getafe. Alan Nixon reported that the 25-year-old is attracting interest. Strelec was not selected in the squad for his club’s opening day victory against Lincoln City last weekend, which has increased speculation that he could leave.

Getafe, a La Liga club, is interested in David Strelec, a 25-year-old Slovakian striker who plays for Middlesbrough. Strelec joined Middlesbrough last summer and scored eight goals in his first season in the Championship. He could lose his position in the first team following the signing of Will Lankshear. As a result, Middlesbrough may be willing to approve a sale. However, the player will make the final decision on a potential move to Spain, and a replacement would need to be secured. Strelec has earned 39 caps and scored 10 goals for Slovakia, and his contract with Middlesbrough runs until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €8.00m. Nottingham Forest and Everton have also reportedly been associated with the striker.
