Jadon Sancho, a 26-year-old English free agent after his contract at Manchester United ended, has received concrete interest from Getafe. Mundo Deportivo reports that the primary obstacle to a deal is the winger's salary demands of approximately four million euros, which exceed the financial capabilities of the club that finished 14th in La Liga. Getafe is reportedly exploring ways to complete the transfer, with one option being to create more salary cap room by applying for long-term illness status for the injured winger Juanmi. Sancho, who was on loan at Aston Villa last season, had also been linked with Borussia Dortmund, but the German club's sporting director Ole Book decided not to pursue a deal. Sancho has 23 caps and 3 goals for England and his current Transfermarkt market value is €10.00m.
