Chelsea acquired the 23-year-old Ivorian striker from Molde for a reported 12 million euros in early 2023. According to the same report, Chelsea is now working on a permanent exit for the player during the winter window. Fofana, who has been capped three times for the Ivory Coast, is currently on loan at Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük, where he has scored five goals in 12 league appearances this season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.00m, and in August 2025, Chelsea's asking price was reportedly around €18 million.
