Right-back Daniel Oyegoke, who holds both English and Nigerian citizenship, has transferred to Lincoln City from Italian Serie B club Hellas Verona for an undisclosed fee, on a four-year deal. The 23-year-old is a former England Under-20 international, for whom he has 10 caps and one goal. He was with Verona for less than 18 months after joining them from the Scottish club Hearts. The former Arsenal youth player was also at Brentford. His transfer to Lincoln occurred a week after the club's captain and defender Tendayi Darikwa was determined to be unable to play for the season due to an injury. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.00m. He had also been linked with a transfer to Bologna.
