Rangers midfielder Connor Barron has rejected a proposed loan move to Hannover 96. The Bundesliga 2 side was one of several clubs to have recently submitted proposals for the 24-year-old, with their offer being a loan with an option to buy. Spanish side Sevilla were also interested, but could not pursue a deal as they were unable to make a non-EU player slot available. Other offers for Barron were either not financially viable for Rangers or were rejected by the player, who has decided to stay and compete for his position under Derek McInnes.
