Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan has confirmed that transfer talks are taking place for Christ Inao Oulai amid reports that Chelsea have made a €40 million bid for him. It is claimed that Chelsea are prepared to pay as much as €40m, however, this has not been enough to convince Trabzonspor to sell. Mr Dogan has confirmed that Trabzonspor want at least €50m. The president said that Trabzonspor's expectation is above €40m.

Chelsea has submitted an offer of approximately 40 million euros to Trabzonspor for Christ Inao Oulaï. Oulaï is a 19-year-old Ivorian international who has attracted interest following a notable 2025 AFCON. The Turkish club is demanding at least 50 million euros for the midfielder. Chelsea faces competition for the former Bastia player, as Galatasaray also made a 20 million euro offer that was considered insufficient, and PSV Eindhoven is also monitoring the situation with an ambition to bring him to the Netherlands. Oulaï has 6 caps for Ivory Coast. He joined Trabzonspor in August 2025 and is under contract until June 2030. In the current Süper Lig season, he has made 10 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. His current market value is €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
