Liverpool is considering Brentford's El Hadji Malick Diouf, who is a 21-year-old Senegalese international. The club is seeking a new left back because of concerns about Milos Kerkez and Kostas Tsimikas. El Nacional reports that Diouf is on a wish list that also features Lewis Hall of Newcastle United, Federico Dimarco of Inter Milan, Álvaro Carreras of Real Madrid, and Maximiliano Araújo of Sporting CP. Diouf joined Brentford in August 2026, and his contract with the club is until 2031. He has 25 caps and one goal for Senegal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €35M. During the previous transfer window, he was also linked with clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea.
