Ipswich Town winger Chiedozie Ogbene is set to join Championship club Lincoln City on loan ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline, having also been linked with Charlton Athletic, Derby County, and Stoke City. Lincoln City have agreed a deal with Ipswich Town for the 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who has earned 35 caps and scored 5 goals for his country. The move is understood to be a half-season loan until January. Ogbene, who has two years remaining on his contract and a current market value estimated by Transfermarkt at €4.00m, joined Ipswich from Luton Town for an £8m fee in the summer of 2024, but an Achilles injury ended his Premier League season that October. He subsequently spent the previous season on loan at Sheffield United.
