Barcelona have already held conversations regarding Cavan Sullivan’s future.

According to reports in the Spanish press, a story in Spain mentioned that Cavan Sullivan's agent said in public that the deal with Man City was not yet guaranteed or formally completed, creating the possibility of a potential move to Spanish clubs like Barcelona. The agency representing Cavan Sullivan has responded that the interview is not true. The agency stated the interview is fabricated and that Cavan Sullivan has no plan other than joining Manchester City. They also stated that there is no ongoing attempt by Barcelona to acquire Cavan Sullivan.

According to 'Sport', FC Barcelona perceives a unique opportunity to sign Cavan Sullivan if the contract with the City Football Group becomes invalid due to the possible sanctions against Manchester City.
