Sheffield United are understood to remain admirers of Cardiff City's 21-year-old Welsh forward Cian Ashford after their failed enquiry at the start of the season. Last summer, Sheffield United had reignited their interest in Cian Ashford after an initial enquiry in the 24/25 January window. Cardiff City apparently had no intention of selling the player then and insisted that Ashford was not for sale. It has been reiterated that Sheffield United are admirers of Ashford.
