According to a report from Football League World, QPR are competing with West Brom over the transfer of versatile Oxford United defender Brodie Spencer. Spencer is a 22-year-old right-back who can also play on the left and in the middle of a back four, which makes him attractive for Championship sides.

Interest has been shown by West Brom and QPR in Brodie Spencer, a 22-year-old defender from Northern Ireland who plays for Oxford United. Spencer, who joined from Huddersfield Town in 2025, could have a quick return to the second tier due to Oxford's relegation and their current transfer embargo. The defender has 23 caps for his country. He made 53 appearances during the 2025/2026 Championship season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
