Andriy Lunin Transfer from Real Madrid to Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton & Hove Albion are understood to be monitoring the situation of Andriy Lunin, a 26-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper at Real Madrid. It is reported that Lunin is very tempted by a move to England. Brighton could face competition for his signature from Premier League rivals. Sources have confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur have been made aware of the situation. Nottingham Forest are also said to be monitoring the player. Lunin is an international with 16 caps for his country. He joined Real Madrid in July 2018 and has a contract until 2030. He is the number two goalkeeper at Real and has made no appearances in LaLiga this season. The club may allow a deal in 2026. Brighton's interest comes as they could potentially lose their own goalkeeper, Bart Verbruggen, this summer. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €15.00m. According to recent reports from December 2025, Real Madrid values the player at €25 million. In the summer of 2025, Manchester United reportedly made a €15 million offer when the asking price was cited as being between €20 million and €30 million.
