Dedic, a 22-year-old Bosnian right-back, was officially presented by Benfica after signing a contract with the club until 2030. He previously spent six months on loan at Marseille, where he played 10 matches. Benfica invested €10 million in acquiring Dedic, who is known for his versatility, being able to play on both defensive flanks and in midfield. He impressed Benfica when playing against them in the 2023/24 season while with Salzburg.

Amar Dedic, who was recruited from RB Salzburg last winter, did not convince Olympique de Marseille to extend their collaboration.
