Alan Godoy has been returned to Barcelona by Estrela da Amadora, which announced the early termination of his loan deal that was originally set to run until the end of the season. The decision was based on the attacker's limited usage, having played in only six matches. His playing time decreased significantly after a managerial change; after being a starter at the beginning of the season, he played just 33 minutes in a single match under the new coach, João Nuno, on October 4, over three months ago. After that appearance, he was not utilized again. Godoy is now set to join Sabadell in Spain's third tier, with Barcelona negotiating the move. Other clubs in that division were also interested in him.
