Millwall's 22-year-old Irish-Nigerian winger, Aidomo Emakhu, could leave the club on a permanent transfer on deadline day, with several Championship clubs reportedly interested. Journalist William Scott has reported that there is significant interest in the player, whom Millwall are now reportedly willing to sell after rejecting multiple bids from League One side Wycombe Wanderers in the summer. Bristol City is one of several clubs that could make a deal before the transfer deadline, as they are seeking a permanent replacement for their departed top scorer, Anis Mehmeti. Stoke City and Norwich City have also been suggested as other potential destinations for the attacker. Emakhu joined Millwall in January 2023 and has a contract until June 2026. In the current Championship season, he has made 27 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. The winger has also been capped 12 times for the Republic of Ireland at the U21 level, scoring four goals. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €900k.
