Yuri Alberto has been earmarked as Sporting’s replacement for Gyokeres. The 24-year-old Corinthians striker could arrive in Lisbon for a fee between €15-20m, which is similar to the one Sporting paid to land the Swede. But there’s a catch: the Brazilian club turned down a €30m bid for the player in March. Sporting hope that Corinthians' poor financial position can help force a deal through, particularly with competition for the striker being low.
