However, Rangers manager Danny Rohl has insisted the player is not leaving, stating there was no doubt that Chermiti would be staying. Rohl added that while the player needed time to settle, he has performed very well in the second half of the season and is part of the core group the club wants to retain. Chermiti, who joined Rangers in September 2025, is under contract until June 2029 and has 7 caps for Portugal's U21 side. According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at €9.00m.
