FC Porto was one of several clubs that had previously been interested in Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa, a 24-year-old Algerian-French international with 19 caps and 3 goals for Algeria. Besiktas, FC Séville, Borussia Dortmund, Marseille, and English clubs including Newcastle United, Sunderland, and Aston Villa were also interested in the winger. A summer transfer to Al Ittihad Djeddah did not proceed because the Dutch club's management found the financial guarantees to be insufficient. It is reported that Feyenoord would like to receive between €35 million and €40 million for the player, who joined in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2030. The player's current market value is €28.00M, according to Transfermarkt. The collapsed deal with Al Ittihad in September 2026 reportedly involved an accepted offer of a €37.5 million fixed fee, with the potential to rise to €42.5 million. It is also reported that during the summer of 2026, Feyenoord had rejected offers of €30 million and €32 million from Al Ahli.
