FC Barcelona is interested in 23-year-old Dutch centre-back Youri Baas as a candidate to strengthen their defense. The club is looking for a new defender this winter because of an injury to Andreas Christensen, but their search is constrained by financial issues. Baas's contract is valid until mid-2028, and Porto, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Bologna have also been associated with an interest in him.
