Wrexham have been linked with Yan Valery but the Dragons have since reduced their interest in the SWFC player after signing Zak Vyner from Bristol City.

Wrexham, a Championship side, are expected to submit a bid for Tunisia international Yan Valery in the last ten days of the window, according to The Star.

Wrexham and Rangers are rivals to sign Sheffield Wednesday's Yan Valery, who is 26 years old, and Millwall is also reportedly interested in the Tunisian international. Sheffield Wednesday is looking to raise funds to avoid the threat of administration, which could mean the player is available in a January deal at a reduced price. Rangers could attempt to sign the right-back. Valery joined Sheffield Wednesday in July 2024 and his contract runs until June 2027. In the Championship this season, he has made 21 appearances and provided one assist. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €1.30m.
