PSG are not actively looking to sell, but €80m could give them something to think about.
According to Jeunes Footeux, Pep Guardiola still remains eager to work with Zaire-Emery, whom he identified as a dream target over the summer. The 19-year-old is reportedly weighing up a move away from the Parc des Princes. The outlet adds that he will listen very carefully to suitors if his situation does not change in the coming months, and City will try to put themselves at the front of the queue if Zaire-Emery asks to leave PSG.

The club was keen to finalize a deal for the French international but eventually withdrew from negotiations after being quoted a €100 million fee. Guardiola reportedly wanted to bring in a new central midfielder to the club due to Rodri’s injury layoff, and the club attempted to sign Zaire-Emery before eventually opting for Gonzalez. The 18-year-old Zaire-Emery, who has over four years left on his contract with PSG, was considered the preferred midfield target for City during the winter window. Although his Estimated Transfer Value was €65.6m, PSG's asking price was considerably higher, leading City to discontinue their pursuit. Zaire-Emery has made 103 senior appearances for PSG, scoring eight goals and winning five trophies. Meanwhile, City successfully secured a deal for Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez for €60m on Transfer Deadline Day.
