Vinícius Júnior Transfer from Real Madrid to Arsenal

Fabrizio Romano has responded by insisting that Vinicius Junior is happy at Real Madrid and has signalled he wants to stay and sign a new contract.

According to TBR Football, several clubs, including Arsenal, have been informed of the latest developments concerning Vinicius Junior. Real Madrid have decided to sell him in the coming summer if he does not extend his contract, which runs until 2027. Vinicius Junior wants to reach the salary level of Kylian Mbappé, which is unacceptable for Real Madrid. The player is also dissatisfied with his role under new coach Xabi Alonso, and while Real Madrid want to extend his contract, it would only be under their salary conditions.

According to a report from TBR, Vinicius Junior's agents want €30m (£26.2m, $35.4m) per season in salary, including bonuses, while Real Madrid are offering him €20million (£17.5m, $23.6m) per year. The club have reportedly told the player that he will be sold next summer if he does not sign a new contract by the end of the season. The report adds that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have been informed about the 25-year-old’s situation and that the player is open to a move to the Premier League.

According to Transfermarkt, Arsenal are interested in Vinicius Jr, whose long-term future at Real Madrid is uncertain. The 25-year-old Brazil international is not a guaranteed starter under Xabi Alonso and did not start Madrid's Champions League opener against Marseille.

Arsenal have reportedly been contacted to be informed of the potential opportunity to sign Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, according to a report from TBR Football. TBR’s Graeme Bailey reports that Real Madrid seem unwilling to match Vinicius’ contract demands, which has led to top Premier League clubs being informed about his situation. Bailey stated that Florentino Perez loves Vinicius Junior but there are concerns within the club about whether he is going to sign his new deal. Sources are insisting on the possibility that Vinicius may not stay at Madrid, and the club will not allow him to go into the final 12 months of his deal.

TBR Football reports that Arsenal have spoken with the representatives of Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior, who has been warned that he will be sold next summer if a new contract has not yet been agreed.

According to TBR, Chelsea and Manchester City have been told that Vinicius could be open to a move to the Premier League if such an opportunity arose, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich also informed about the ongoing situation. The headline of the report claims that Vinicius Junior is 'open to Premier League move with Arsenal and Liverpool among clubs alerted'.

Arsenal's Martin Odegaard has expressed a wish for the club to acquire Vinicius Junior, whom he regards as the best player globally at the moment. Odegaard, who played alongside Vinicius at Real Madrid, commended his performance and highlighted his impressive goal and assist record. The Brazilian forward has netted 18 goals and provided 11 assists in 39 matches this season, following a remarkable previous season where he scored 25 goals and provided 11 assists as Real Madrid secured LaLiga and the Champions League titles. When questioned by TV2Sport about his ideal signing for Arsenal, Odegaard naturally selected Vinicius, emphasizing the significant impact he could have at the club.
