According to a list recommended by data analytics firm SciSports, Everton's 24-year-old Thierno Barry is one of five potential targets for Arsenal to replace Viktor Gyokeres. The Ivory Coast striker is considered to have high potential for development, with a potential SciSkill score of 120.0; it is said that only three current centre-forwards exceed this mark. His work rate is also noted as being compatible with Mikel Arteta's ethos, although his rate of scoring goals has not been consistently aligned with his general performances since joining Everton in July 2025. His contract with the club runs until 2029, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €35.00m. The forward has also drawn interest from clubs in Germany, including RB Leipzig and TSG Hoffenheim.
