Vincent Aboubakar Transfer to São Paulo

ESPN BR reports on São Paulo's unsuccessful attempt to sign Vincent Aboubakar due to financial constraints. São Paulo opened talks to sign Vincent Aboubakar but could not reach an agreement due to financial difficulties. The club had video conversations with the player, but his salary demands were above what São Paulo could pay. As a result, São Paulo has dropped out of the negotiations.

Currently a 33-year-old free agent, Vincent Aboubakar is available to be signed and registered in Brazil, where São Paulo has started to consider him more seriously after an unsuccessful loan bid for Marcos Leonardo. According to ESPN, the club's leadership made initial contact to inquire about the financial terms of a potential agreement and conducted a video call with the player. Discussions are underway, but Aboubakar's wage expectations are presently higher than what São Paulo is prepared to offer, and no formal proposal has been submitted. The striker has indicated his interest in a move to Brazil, despite receiving financially superior inquiries from clubs in both Turkey and Iran.
