Chelsea is one of several clubs interested in Grêmio's 21-year-old centre-back Viery, while Bologna, Fiorentina, and Nottingham Forest are also reportedly monitoring him. Fiorentina is said to have had an offer of 12 million euros rejected, with the Brazilian club now seeking a base fee of around 20 million euros. Viery's contract with Grêmio runs until December 2029 and contains a 50 million euro release clause.
