Tottenham Hotspur is considering a move for Benfica's 27-year-old striker Vangelis Pavlidis during the summer transfer window. The North London club is interested in signing the Greek international, who has 55 caps for his country and has scored 30 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season. The player is said to be highly appreciated by the newly appointed Tottenham manager, Roberto De Zerbi. It is reported that the chance to play in the Premier League would be exciting for Pavlidis, who has been linked with a move to England in the past. However, Tottenham will need to ensure their survival in the top flight before they can make a move for the striker. Pavlidis joined Benfica in July 2024 and his contract runs until 2029. Aston Villa and Juventus have also been linked with the forward, who has a current market value of €32.00m according to Transfermarkt. Benfica acquired Pavlidis from AZ Alkmaar for a reported €18 million, and reports from May 2026 suggest they are willing to negotiate for around €50 million.
