Scouts from Manchester United, Roma, Freiburg, Leicester, and Watford were present to watch IFK Göteborg's 17-year-old midfielder Oliver Månsson during a match. Månsson stated that it was great fun to have clubs watching him and that he viewed it as proof he has done well, but insisted his focus remains on the present. He also mentioned that the interest provides a confidence boost and that it is a dream to one day play for such big clubs. IFK Göteborg's football chief, Jesper Jansson, stated that while there has been no concrete contact, he believes Månsson should be valued higher on the transfer market than Malick Yalcouyé. Jansson cited factors such as his youth, stability, and EU passport for this belief.
