Triston Rowe Transfer from Annecy to Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers have made an offer for 19-year-old Aston Villa defender Triston Rowe, who holds both English and Jamaican citizenship. Rowe is currently on a season-long loan at French second-tier club Annecy, but the deal includes a break clause that could be activated. Although several other Championship clubs are interested in the player, Blackburn's proposal is the only concrete one so far. Aston Villa do not favor a permanent sale and would prefer another loan agreement. The Premier League side must now decide in the coming weeks whether to let Rowe complete the season in France, where he has made 15 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist, or to activate the break clause for a move to the Championship, which they may deem more beneficial for his development. The England U20 international has a current market value of €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
