Rangers midfielder Thelo Aasgaard, 24, who is not currently preferred by manager Derek McInnes, could leave the club before the transfer deadline on Thursday at 5pm. Norwegian club Bodø/Glimt is interested in the player, who represents Norway internationally. No official offer has been submitted by the Norwegian club at this stage. Bodø/Glimt have less time to complete a deal, as the transfer window in Norway closes on Wednesday 2 September. Aasgaard, who holds both Norwegian and English nationality, joined Rangers in July 2025 and has a contract with the club until the summer of 2029. Italian club Atalanta have also been associated with the player. The player has a current market value of €2.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
