Sheffield United are believed to be among several clubs interested in signing Svante Ingelsson, a 27-year-old Swedish midfielder who is Sheffield Wednesday's Player of the Year. Ingelsson has attracted considerable attention following his club's relegation to League One. West Bromwich Albion and Preston North End are also reportedly monitoring him. During the January transfer window, Sheffield Wednesday rejected bids for Ingelsson from both Millwall and Portsmouth. His contract at the club runs until June 2027.
