According to Sports Boom, Derby County are preparing a move to sign 27-year-old English winger Stephy Mavididi from Leicester City following the club's relegation. The winger is reportedly not opposed to returning to the second tier and is one of many players who could be sold this summer amid financial concerns at the Foxes. Former Leicester boss Enzo Maresca previously described Mavididi as a fantastic and important player for the team. Mavididi, who joined Leicester in July 2023 with a contract that runs until 2028, has three caps for England U20 and his current Transfermarkt market value is €8.00m.
