Agent Giovanni Becali has offered his client, 23-year-old Romanian Universitatea Craiova forward Ștefan Baiaram, to several European clubs, including Roma and Bologna. Becali reported that the sporting directors at both Roma and Bologna responded similarly to FC Porto, stating they were satisfied with their situation for the time being but would talk in the summer. Baiaram has confirmed his intention to leave Universitatea Craiova, mentioning a promise from the club's management that he would be allowed to depart if the year concluded well. Baiaram joined his current club in July 2019, has a contract until June 2028, and has 2 caps and 1 goal for Romania. In the current 2025/2026 SuperLiga season, he has scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 7 appearances. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.50m. It was also reported that in January 2026, Universitatea Craiova rejected a €5 million offer from Crvena Zvezda.
