RB Leipzig has inquired about the feasibility of a transfer for French-Malian defensive midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, who is expected to leave West Ham following the club's relegation. LOSC has also shown interest in the 22-year-old, while Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais had previously made inquiries. However, two other clubs have advanced negotiations; Bologna and Sevilla have submitted formal offers to the London club. The proposals are reportedly for a paid loan with an obligation to buy, an arrangement that is said to appeal to West Ham. Magassa is now taking time to analyze these two projects. Magassa, who joined West Ham in August 2025, has a contract with the club until 2031 and has been capped three times by the France U23 team. His market value is currently listed by Transfermarkt as €17.00m.
