Rayo and Elche have both inquired about a loan for Souleymane Faye, a 23-year-old Senegalese winger at Sporting CP, who had also been of interest to Mallorca in recent months. Faye joined the Portuguese club from Granada in January 2026 for a fee reported to be €6.5 million, and his contract runs until 2030. The winger has one cap for Senegal. He made 19 appearances in LaLiga2 for Granada, scoring two goals and providing six assists, before making five appearances in Liga Portugal after his transfer. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m.
