The deal is not yet finalized as the clubs have yet to reach a final agreement, and it is said that negotiations are progressing well. Ajax wishes to include a buy-back clause, and Cambuur, which recently earned promotion to the Eredivisie, appears willing to cooperate on this condition. Skye Vink is under contract with Ajax until the summer of 2029 and seems open to leaving Amsterdam.
