Rangers are the primary club pursuing the signing of highly-rated Hacken midfielder Silas Andersen. The Ibrox board has already made contact about a potential January move for the 21-year-old Danish international, who is considered a top target for this transfer window. Conversations with the player's representatives are ongoing, but other clubs, including Celtic, are also showing interest. Andersen, who was subject to interest from FC Copenhagen and Nottingham Forest last summer, is under contract until June 2028. A significant transfer fee is expected, as Hacken's sporting director has admitted that the player is very important to the team. The midfielder has 6 caps and 2 goals for Denmark U21 and joined the Swedish club in January 2025. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m.
