Everton is one of several English clubs tracking Ross Sykes, a 26-year-old English defender for Union SG, ahead of the summer window. The club has sent scouts to watch Sykes this season, and Crystal Palace, Leeds United, and Coventry City have also done so. His hometown club, Burnley, is also monitoring him. Sykes is contracted to the Belgian team until 2027, and Union SG holds an option for an additional year, which strengthens their negotiating position.
