Rodrigo Ribeiro Transfer from Sporting CP to FC Augsburg

According to BILD, Portuguese U20 national player Rodrigo Ribeiro will move on loan to FC Augsburg until summer 2026, and the Bundesliga club subsequently has a purchase option of five million euros to permanently secure the attacking player. Ribeiro has increasingly played for Sporting Lisbon's second team since last summer and already completed the mandatory medical check on Wednesday.

Rodrigo Ribeiro will be loaned to Germany's Augsburg until the end of the season. Journalist Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sport reported information, which was confirmed by A BOLA, that the agreement includes a mandatory purchase clause based on objectives achieved by the player. The clause is valued at €6 million, plus a percentage of a future sale. The player is in Germany, where he is undergoing medical examinations this Wednesday before signing the contract.

Rodrigo Ribeiro will be loaned to Augsburg from the second team of Sporting. According to information from kicker, Augsburg secures a purchase option valued at five million euros.

FC Augsburg has signed forward Rodrigo Ribeiro from Sporting Lisbon. The Bundesliga club is loaning the player until the end of the season and has a purchase option. His medical examination is scheduled to take place today. Ribeiro, who has a €60 million release clause in his Sporting contract, previously had a loan spell at Nottingham Forest, and it is considered unlikely that Augsburg's purchase option is close to the value of his release clause.
