President Jarosław Królewski confirmed interest in Jakub Krzyżanowski from Augsburg, a club playing in Germany's top flight. However, Wisła Kraków rejected the Bundesliga representative's approach, as the club did not intend to let Krzyżanowski leave at that moment. Wisła Kraków president Jarosław Królewski confirmed in an interview with Kanał Sportowy that a Bundesliga club made an inquiry for Jakub Krzyżanowski, and stated that no one at the club is currently considering the player's departure. At the end of August, Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl had reported that Wisła Kraków rejected an offer from Augsburg. Regarding this report, Królewski commented that there was an inquiry from the Bundesliga, but the club declined at this time because it is not the period in which they want to sell any of Wisła Kraków's key players, and Krzyżanowski is considered to be one.

Bundesliga club Augsburg submitted a formal offer for 20-year-old Polish left defender Jakub Krzyżanowski, which was rejected by Wisła Kraków. Krzyżanowski's contract is valid until June 30, 2027, and contains an extension option. He is a Poland U20 international with 5 caps, joined Wisła Kraków on 08/09/2022, and has a current market value of €500k according to Transfermarkt.
