Sources have indicated that Swansea City have shown an interest in 22-year-old English winger Reyes Cleary, and it is understood that this has not progressed beyond the initial stages. The Barnsley player scored seven goals and provided 13 assists last season and is also reportedly being monitored by several other Championship clubs. Former manager Conor Hourihane believes Cleary would be a valuable asset for Barnsley if he were to be sold this summer. He told the Barnsley Chronicle that any decision on the player's future would depend on the new manager's plans and formation. Cleary joined Barnsley in July 2025, has a contract that runs until the summer of 2028, and has been capped by England at U19 level. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €150k.
