Piotr Zieliński Transfer from Inter to Leeds United
Leeds United are planning to strengthen Daniel Farke’s squad in January to help avoid relegation, with midfield identified as an area for upgrades. According to InterLive, via Sport Witness, Leeds are interested in 31-year-old Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who has struggled for playing time, having been an unused substitute in three of the last four games. The Poland international is expected to be available in the next transfer window, and Inter are reportedly happy to let him move to Elland Road. However, a potential issue exists regarding the nature of the deal, as the Serie A club desires a permanent transfer, whereas Leeds would prefer a loan or a free transfer achieved by cancelling his contract. Inter are not currently prepared to terminate the player's deal, which runs until 2028 and is worth a reported €21m over its remainder, but their stance may change due to a desire to save on his wages. It is yet to be seen if Leeds will make a formal move in January or if they can reach an agreement on their preferred terms, but they are expected to continue monitoring his situation. Zielinski's current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10m.
